Ian Sandler 

Ian Sandler advises Bloom Burton in the areas of veterinary medicine and product commercialization.

Dr. Ian Sandler graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph in 1994. After graduation, Ian practiced as a veterinarian in Detroit, Michigan. In 1995, Ian returned to Toronto and joined the Secord Animal Hospital as an Associate. Ian is currently a founding partner in the Ontario Veterinary Group, and is practicing at the Rosedale Animal Hospital, with a special interest in oncology and internal medicine.

In addition to consulting to many veterinary pharmaceutical companies, Ian serves on the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association's veterinary technician college accreditation committee. Ian was formerly President of the Toronto Academy of Veterinary Medicine, the Past Chairperson of the Toronto chapter of the Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind, a member of the Records Accreditation Committee of the College of Veterinarians of Ontario, and an Executive Board Member of Pet Trust, the research and fundraising arm of the Ontario Veterinary College. Ian appears on CTV's Canada AM as the program's animal expert, and has written articles for many publications including Dog Sport magazine, Maclean's, Readers digest, Chatelaine and City Dog Magazine.
